Tansystorm believes everyone has their own strengths and weaknesses and that it's a waste of time to develop their weaknesses. She thinks one should instead become a master of what they are naturally good at. That being said, she doesn't approve of idiocy or selfishness. She may encourage a strong fighter to chisel their fighting prowess over their hunting skill, or even over thinking before acting, but she also does not believe in putting the clan in danger and so would disapprove of unnecessary risks. Otherwise, her expectations for one passing into Warriorhood is simple: be the very best at what you can be and just be "OK" enough to get the job done in other categories. Meanwhile, hold your clanmate's lives in the highest of value. Cowards or the lawless will find it hard, if not impossible, to get her approval.
Overall Tansystorm expects and promotes honor and efficiency. She is all about law and order, in regards to both clan life and the warrior's code. That said, she isn't entirely rigid. She realizes each individual has their own strengths and weaknesses, so she promotes they work on their strengths more than trying to tidy up what they're bad at. Why be a jack of all trades when you can be a master of one? Her expectations are high for what her clanmates are good at, however, so she will often go out of her way to make sure they are rigoursly trying to master that one talent they are proficient at. Tired of hunting duty? That's too bad, you're stuck in it until she sees sheer perfection.
Yet, despite her adamant conceptions on the matter of mastery, she holds one thing higher than all else: selflessness. Unnecessary risks are absolutely frowned upon. Putting oneself or another ShadowClan cat in danger through an avoidable circumstance is one of the worst sins you can commit. And on the other end of that stick, being too cowardly to protect your clanmates when trouble does befall them is equally as disgusting.
