[attr="class","appFIELD"]Foxpaw is a wily young tom who lives up to the lore about his namesake. Where his sister is bold and outgoing, Foxpaw is more apt to melt into the background and just observe. He's happy to let Harepaw take the spotlight, while he puts his mind to work. Ever since his eyes opened, he had a piercing stare that unnerved some who found it fixated on them.
While Foxpaw may not bring much attention to himself, one can be sure he's always watching. In fact, he's gotten into his fair share of trouble for eavesdropping on warriors who thought their conversations were private. Every once in a while he adopts an “I will cause problems on purpose” stance, often dropping a comment here or there just to stir the pot and see what will happen. Occasionally he’s even pitted his denmates against each other, just to see if he could. That said, Foxpaw loves his family and friends dearly, and would certainly do anything to protect them, even if it meant going against the Warrior’s Code.
All this meddling means Foxpaw himself has a tendency to be distrusting - he expects all the world to be just as good at lying and manipulating as he seems to be. He’s not very welcoming or good at making friends, and depends on his sister for most of his support. While Foxpaw has the potential to grow up into a shrewd and brilliant cat, he will also need guidance to insure his moral compass gets pointed in the right direction, and not tossed out altogether.

[attr="class","appCATEGORY"]HISTORY
[attr="class","appBAR"]
[attr="class","appFIELD"]Foxkit and Harekit were born to a new couple alongside one stillborn kit, Elmstripe and Sandcoat. Though the kits were unexpected, they were loved intensely. Even as Elmstripe and Sandcoat drifted apart as mates, the two still maintained great affection for one another and continued to co-parent.
As a kit, Foxkit was mischievous and nosy. While Harekit and his mother were napping, Foxkit would often perch just inside the nursery entrance and just…listen. He was obsessed with absorbing all the information he could, and many a time a warrior would catch him staring or listening in.
When it came time to be named apprentices, Foxpaw was surprised to be given to Thrushcloud, who had been named a warrior when Foxpaw was still a kit. All the same, he was not disappointed to be given to a more inexperienced warrior, immediately seeing it as a boon to exploit rather than something to complain about. Unfortunately, Thrushcloud has proven to be an attentive and supportive mentor, leading Foxpaw with fewer opportunities to take advantage than he would have liked.
Today he is 2 moons into his apprenticeship, and his skills are slowly honing. He has proven himself to have great hunting potential, and a more reserved and careful battler. His sister is still his best friend (even if she beats him every time they spar).
