Swankit absolutely goes against the grain of the expected for a clan cat. Rather than desiring to follow in everyone's footsteps, she wishes to carve out her own path. A path which is utterly ridiculous in many eyes: to sing. She is adamantly passionate about it - and honestly, is just as equally vehement about anything she conceives as important. She may be naive and young, but Swankit knows and believes one thing wholeheartedly: Follow your heart! For that reason she is considered overly idealistic, somewhat dangerously so, as she doesn't take into account the logic or realism of things. That isn't to say that she lacks intelligence, though! She definitely displays some witty qualities through her sass alone, but, she is also 'entitled' in thinking that survival is 'easy.'
STARCLAN
Swankit doesn't have any reason to doubt the existence of Starclan, but she is far too young to have any solid conceptions on them. She does often wonder, however, if anyone in Starclan was like her: a singer. Did they fight to be who they were? Did they succeed? Were they sad to have to be a Warrior? She hopes one day Starclan will give her the signs and answers to her questions.
AMBITIONS & GOALS
Swankit does not want to be a Warrior in the slightest. Fighting? Hunting? BLEH! Boring! Empty! She has one exclusive desire and that is to sing to her heart's content. It makes people feel good to hear something beautiful, doesn't it? Shouldn't that be enough of a reason to validate it as a role within the Clan? Apparently not! But, she definitely intends on changing everyone's hearts and minds on the matter, no matter what it takes!

Yet, her personality easily made it seem like she was the 'first' born, due to the sheer amount of attention she earned for her own herself idiosyncratic self. As soon as she could talk, she was singing – always bouncing around and yowling some semi-beautiful tune (her tone needed some work in her early moons!) Even her siblings occasionally joined in, but none of them really took it as anything other than play.
After two moons of trying to perfect her craft, while the others focused more on play wrestling or being enamored by Warrior lore, Swankit would profess that she would not become a Warrior. And while her Mother, Cloud-, gladly encouraged her since birth to be herself, she didn't exactly have the heart to tell Swankit she had no choice in the matter. But that was a reservation not shared by her father, who scorned her for being absurd and selfish.
In rebellion to that, Swankit has been trying to conceive of a way to convince everyone that the Clan needs a singer more than it needs another boring ol' warrior. But, the crowd is certainly tough: especially her Uncle, Darkfire.
But when your heart is involved.. you gotta go at it with your all, right?!?
