[attr="class","appCATEGORY"]PERSONALITY
[attr="class","appBAR"]
[attr="class","appFIELD"]Oakfire has some differences as well as similarities to his brother. The most glaring difference is that Oakfire is far more outspoken, tends to swear more, and basically what you see is what you get. Oakfire is hardly a great liar and it can be argued that it is literally because he just doesn't think about it long enough before he speaks. He is courageous and overall a genuinely nice tom. Despite his sometimes explosive personality and especially his reactions when enraged, he genuinely has a love for most things and most cats. Underneath all of that fiery personality, he seeks to understand others and try to make the world better for everyone. He finds the warrior code to be agreeable and it is something that he holds near and dear to his heart. He won't blindly follow it necessarily, but he certainly tries his best to follow it, common sense permitting. He is also rather fond of and protective of kits and younger cats, perhaps because of his trauma from losing his mother at a young age.
[attr="class","appCATEGORY"]HISTORY
[attr="class","appBAR"]
[attr="class","appFIELD"]Oakfire's history is nearly identical to his brother's, Hickoryfrost. The difference only really starts to become apparent after they joined Windclan. Both of the brothers learned quickly and proved that they were worthy of being not only members of Windclan, but fully fledged warriors as well. Oakfire carried out his duties with a sense of pride and accomplishment, whereas Hickoryfrost became bored with routine and desired more. As they aged, Oakfire eventually began to look upon the Great Rock and wondered what it would be like to be a clan leader. With some thought, he decided that being a leader, being Oakstar would make it easier for him to make bigger changes that would benefit everyone. While he understood that Windclan must come first, he began to develop plans in his head to make Windclan as stable as possible before maybe trying to bridge the gap of distrust between the other clans. Why was there war when there could be peace? After moons of meditating on this matter, Oakfire firmly believed that he could make his ideas and dreams a reality. He would not be afraid to fight, should it come down to that, but if it could be avoided then that would be better. Still, he had to become a leader first, and with this dream in his head he intended to perform his duties so exceptionally well that he would be the obvious pick for Windclan's next deputy.
Oakfire has shared none of his ponderings with his brother, and he knows nothing of his brother's own murderous nature or his own ideas for the future.

Oak; A strong, hard wood and a tree that is the very symbol of strength and endurance. Given to him as a compliment to his bravery in the face of peril, but not as hard as hickory. Perhaps this is a good thing in his case. | Fire; Outspoken, honest, impulsive and short-tempered. This reflects his personality, though he can also be described as warm. Fire is also a symbol of protection and courage. |
